| | Jax loves the dishwasher. He will roll the bottom rack out and then push it back in the dishwasher. One day I was unloading the dishwasher, I noticed he was taking the silverware and "helping" me. I thought that was pretty cute until I noticed that each time he took the silverware out, he would lick it and then put it on the floor. Blech! I wondered why he was doing this until I remember this little episode...
As I was loading up the dishwasher Jax was playing around it and making all sorts of noises. Then all of a sudden it was really quiet. As I looked around, he was no where in the kitchen. I went around the corner of the kitchen and I found him licking a spoon and really enjoying it. I got a closer look and he was licking the spoon with peanut butter on it! First off, gross. Second, we DO feed this kid. Third, peanut butter? Isn't that the worst thing to give to a baby? Luckily, he wasn't allergic. Although I must say, he sure was mad that I took the spoon away. Soon, you can eat it Jax, soon.
So back to unloading the dishwasher. He was probably licking the clean silverware to see if could find that peanut butter that he loved so much.
But I do have a question. Why does it turn so quiet in the house when my child is doing something he shouldn't?
